We’re the Yap brothers. Born in Malaysia, raised around furniture and design thanks to our dad. After graduating from university in Melbourne, we skipped the nine to five and took a leap of faith, selling furniture on eBay. That hustle became Lifely*, one of Australia’s fastest growing furniture brands, known for trend setting designs at prices that make sense. How Cushie Was Born

It all started with a simple question: What if a sleeper sofa could feel just like a real bed? We were tired of the lumpy mattresses, noisy metal bars, and complicated setups. So, we got to work—mixing real mattress comfort with a modular design that actually looks good in your living room.After countless late nights (and more than a few naps on prototypes), Cushie was born. A sleeper sofa that’s comfy enough for everyday use, stylish enough to show off, and smart enough to fit any space.

Perfect for our needs

I am the person who goes on Reddit and researches the heck out of a bigger purchase before pulling the trigger. Some people warned of communication issues and delayed deliveries, but everything was fast and I can't think of any issues. This is one of very few couches that fit into my kids room, not just width but length (similar styles I found were longer). I decided on Cushie because if the inner springs - we know we'd end up sleeping on the floor in the kids room often - and it didn't disappoint. Much more comfortable than other memory foam mattresses. I'd buy this again. Oh and I was bothered by the messy front in some of the reviewers pictures - but if you pull the flap tight and attach to the Velcro underneath, it looks flawless.
